This is an exciting opportunity to become a spokesperson for a thriving postgraduate network, within the rich and welcoming culture of the international Gothic Studies community.
This is a two-year position, focused on supporting and building the IGA postgrad community. Regular responsibilities include recruiting bloggers and managing the IGA postgrad blog, and keeping the Facebook page and Twitter feed active and engaged. There is scope for developing other plans for growing the network, such as conference events for postgrads. The new reps will be joining Louise Benson James (Louise.BensonJames@bristol.ac.uk), who has been an IGA postgrad rep for one year and has another year to go.
To apply, email a short statement about why you want to be a rep and what you would do with the position to Angela Wright (firstname.lastname@example.org) and Catherine Spooner (email@example.com) by May 31 2017. Candidates must have at least 2 years left to run on their PhDs, and must be members of the IGA. The position will commence in September 2017.
