A new anthology of classic Weird short stories by women writers
Women’s Weird, a new anthology of classic Weird short stories by women writers will be published by Handheld Press on 31 October 2019. Gothic and superatural scholar Melissa Edmundson has curated a ground-breaking collection of tremendous stories first published from 1893 to 1942. D K Broster, E Nesbit, Edith Wharton, May Sinclair, Mary Butts and Charlotte Perkins Gilman are among the thirteen contributors. The book will be launched on 30 October in London at The Second Shelf, the antiquarian feminist bookshop that’s been causing comment in book collecting circles.
